'No pork!': Disruptive customer demands Meat Lovers pizza with no pork, loses temper when he gets only beef

Some customers are impossible to reason with, no matter how hard you try. This difficult man walked into a fast food pizza place and asked for the Meat Lovers pizza but with no pork. The employee behind the counter was immediately confused, given that virtually every topping on this pizza, from pepperoni to bacon to ham to pork sausage, would have to be removed. He asked the customer for some clarification. Perhaps the man was just talking about the pork sausage. However, before the employee could even finish asking his question, the customer cut him off and reiterated the same talking point: "No Pork!" 

This behavior is, unfortunately, far too common among customers who never like to admit that they're wrong about something. Yes, sometimes these folks are of a certain age as this guy was, but it's not always the case. Entitlement comes in many shapes and sizes. Despite the fact that this customer had been warned, or at least the employee tried to warn him, he was still furious when his pizza arrived and the only topping he was given was beef. So much for being a meat lover!

  • Imagine if the customer had taken a moment to listen to the employee. Not only would he have come to understand that the employee was trying to do him a solid, but the alternative that the employee was prepared to suggest would have been significantly cheaper, especially since there was a sale for pizzas with only one topping. However, this man's hubris got in the way, and he ended up having to pay more in order to get something he didn't actually want. That's what you get, sir!

    And so on. So I got the order, and so did everyone in a three mile radius, of three large Meat Lovers pizzas. I don't think he was dhe seemed to hear me just fine, but it seemed like he just could not stand it if anyone else said more than three words.
